So here’s my thoughts on the matter: I miss podcasting, and would like to get back into it, to some degree. So I was thinking that this website would be a good platform for such a show.
It would be called “Tabletop Tribe”, to match with the website name, and it would be a community-driven podcast discussing TTRPGs. We could discuss recent TTRPG news, review different games, talk about the hobby as a whole, and so on. I’m thinking we could do single-topic shows, running maybe half an hour to an hour each. That would be 45-90 minutes of recording time, edited down to 30-60 minutes.
The reason for a community-driven show is to get a variety of voices involved, with their varied opinions, allowing me to limit the amount of talking I have to do. My voice has been wrecked by decades of podcasting and other content creation, so I can’t carry a show like I used to. I’m looking to be the host, who introduces a topic, gives a brief overview/opinion, then hands it off to the group to discuss.
